Lindeman's Coonawarra St George Cabernet Sauvignon represents decades of Lindeman's heritage and winemaking in the Coonawarra region, South Australia.

It is one of the Coonawarra Trio. It brought recognition to the winery's premium range when the 1980 vintage won the coveted Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy.

The wine is purely Cabernet Sauvignon from the low yielding St George Vineyard, located on the limestone spine of Coonawarra's terra rossa strip. Planted in the 1960s, the vines are now in their maturity.

Following fermentation, the wine matures for 18 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels.

Deep red purple, Lindeman’s Coonawarra St George Cabernet Sauvignon is medium to full bodied, with dark fruits and earthy complexity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
